Boutique Winery Operations Manager

Our client, a leading company within the FMCG industry are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to oversee the daily operations of their boutique winery. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for a Wine Aficionado and customer engagement. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team. Reporting to the CEO, your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and mentor staff, fostering a positive, growth-oriented work environment.
• Oversee financial performance, managing budgets and forecasts to maintain profitability.
• Plan and manage winery events, tastings, and tours to engage the community and enhance winery visibility.
• Coordinate event logistics, including setup, catering, and entertainment.
• Build partnerships with local businesses and organizations to promote events.
• Increase community engagement through social media, newsletters, and local media.
• Lead guided tours and tastings, sharing the winery’s history and winemaking insights.
• Manage event budgets to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Track and report on event performance, analyzing ROI and gathering feedback for improvement.
• Prepare event outcome reports with recommendations for future planning.

• Have a passion for wine.
• Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in Hospitality or a similar role.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Hold an excellent level of verbal and written English.
