Paradise Bay Hotel Ltd. is currently seeking a dedicated and professional individual to join our Front Office team as a Day/Night Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our guests, the ideal candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the smooth operation of the reception desk at all hours.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome guests warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the hotel.  

- Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and professionally.  

- Answer and direct phone calls and respond to emails and guest inquiries.  

- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area at all times.  

- Provide accurate information regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.  

- Manage room reservations, modifications, and cancellations using the hotel’s PMS.  

- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.  

- Monitor guest arrivals and departures, ensuring accuracy in guest logs.  

- Respond to emergencies following hotel protocol and coordinate with relevant personnel.  

- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and reporting.

 

Requirements:

- Secondary school certificate or higher; relevant certification in hospitality or office administration is an asset.  

- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.  

- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.  

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.  

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel reservation systems (PMS experience preferred).  

- Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.  

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including day, night, weekend, and public holiday shifts.  

- Professional appearance and a friendly, approachable manner.
