Our client who specializes in the FMCG industry is looking for a Marketing Manager. Your roles and responsibilities will include: 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote shops, brands, and products, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including traditional advertising, digital platforms, social media, email marketing, and in-store promotions
  • Manage the company’s public relations strategy and coordinate a PR communication calendar with the marketing agency, as needed
  • Brief agencies on brand guidelines for creative concepts, including designs, social media content, and radio scripts
  • Provide input on the development of marketing materials such as scripts, concepts, and storyboards in line with brand guidelines.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of BTL (Below The Line) trade marketing materials
  • Oversee the digital and social media strategies to maintain a strong market presence
  • Manage the company’s and third-party online shopping platforms, including strategy and execution
  • Conduct market research, analyze consumer trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with teams across product management, operations, and merchandising to ensure effective communication and execution of marketing initiatives
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and monitoring the return on investment (ROI)
  • Use data analytics to evaluate campaign performance and recommend improvements
  • Build strong relationships with media partners, advertising agencies, and external vendors to leverage promotional opportunities
  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and industry shifts to adjust marketing strategies accordingly
  • Stay current with industry best practices, new marketing technologies, and regulations to ensure compliance and innovation
  • Perform other duties related to the role as required
  • Manage social media channels to increase market share
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar industry or a senior level is a must
  • Fluent in English and Maltese
  • Ability to work alone or in a team as needed
Education and Experience
  • Degree level of education in Marketing would be an asset
