Video Editor/Camera Operator

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor/Camera Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is passionate about visual storytelling, has a keen eye for detail, and is proficient in both video editing and camera operation. You will be responsible for capturing high-quality footage and turning it into engaging content that resonates with our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate cameras to capture high-quality video footage for various projects, including tv shows, corporate videos, commercials, social media content, and events.
• Edit raw footage into polished, professional videos using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards.
• Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and meet the creative vision of the project.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time and within budget.
• Colour correction, sound editing, and other post-production tasks as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve video quality.
• Assist in setting up and dismantling video production equipment.
• Maintain a well-organised library of video assets.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor and Camera Operator, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Excellent verbal and written proficiency in English.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar.
• Experience with professional camera equipment and lighting setups.
• Strong understanding of video production workflows and techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and a creative mindset.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of motion graphics is a plus.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content trends is a plus.
