Our client, a well-established and a leading company within the Shipping Sector, is recruiting for a Sales Support Administrator to join their growing team. Reporting to the Trade Manager, your duties will include;
Communicate and be the main point of contact with customers regarding shipment status and updates
Prepare and submit quotations
Follow up bookings and port schedules
Maintain freight rates
Review and record incoming orders from our international agency network
Assists with ensuring accuracy of pricing and other details on commercial documents
Handle routine correspondence with related parties involved, on a per shipment basis
Assist in prioritizing and scheduling incoming and outgoing shipments
Advise Trade Managers of any delays, problems and/or question any irregularities identified within assigned transactions.
Skill-sets and Requirements
Have a good command of spoken and written English. Knowledge of Maltese is seen as a Plus.
Based in Malta
Be conversant in using Microsoft applications
Be a team player, flexible, and able to adapt to changing working conditions effectively
Education & Experience
Previous experience in a sales or clerical function is required, whilst experience or knowledge of the industry is highly preferred
Be in possession of at least 6 ‘O’ levels, or equivalent
