Our client, a well-established and a leading company within the Shipping Sector, is recruiting for a Sales Support Administrator to join their growing team.  Reporting to the Trade Manager, your duties will include;

  • Communicate and be the main point of contact with customers regarding shipment status and updates
  • Prepare and submit quotations
  • Follow up bookings and port schedules
  • Maintain freight rates
  • Review and record incoming orders from our international agency network
  • Assists with ensuring accuracy of pricing and other details on commercial documents
  • Handle routine correspondence with related parties involved, on a per shipment basis
  • Assist in prioritizing and scheduling incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Advise Trade Managers of any delays, problems and/or question any irregularities identified within assigned transactions.
Skill-sets and Requirements
  • Have a good command of spoken and written English. Knowledge of Maltese is seen as a Plus.
  • Based in Malta
  • Be conversant in using Microsoft applications
  • Be a team player, flexible, and able to adapt to changing working conditions effectively
Education & Experience
  • Previous experience in a sales or clerical function is required, whilst experience or knowledge of the industry is highly preferred
  • Be in possession of at least 6 ‘O’ levels, or equivalent
