Our client is a leading law firm with a predominantly international clientele providing tailored legal services across all practice areas. They are seeking to employ a Legal Secretary within their litigation department, who will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and managing legal files and records, including electronically stored information
  • Preparing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and legal correspondence
  • Email & calendar management
  • Scheduling and coordinating appointments and meetings
  • Assistance in the court registry
  • Answering phones, taking messages, and responding to inquiries
  • Assisting with billing and internal reporting systems
  • General administrative assistance to the local litigation team
Skill-sets and Requirements
  • Candidates must be fluent in both Maltese and English
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Candidates must be attentive, detail-oriented and meticilous
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Education & Experience
  • A Level Standard of Education as a minimum
  • Previous experience as a legal secretary or similar role is a must
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is a plus
  • Study leave
