Junior Account Handler

Global Insurance Brokers Limited is seeking to recruit a Junior Account Handler in the Personal Lines Department to join our young dynamic team at our Birzebbugia Branch in order to better service our customer requirements

Job responsibilities 

• Attending to and servicing all customer queries (including new business, renewals and mid-term changes) relating to Motor and Personal Lines Business 

• Sourcing quotations through the Insurers' operational system and/or liaising with Insurers to obtain quotations and negotiate terms and conditions of cover in line with the requirements of the customer 

• Carry out re-marketing of Personal Lines Accounts and ensuring that a proper comparison of the options available is provided to customers 

• Following up the issuing of policy documentation by Insurers and checking that documentation has been issued in line with the instructions provided

• Assisting with the issuance of renewal notices and actively reminding and chasing clients to secure renewal

• Delivering the highest level of customer service

• Ensuring that company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements are adhered to at all times

Qualifications & Experience

• Holds at least an A Level Standard of Education

• An Insurance qualification - minimum Certificate of Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute will be considered an asset

• Experience in both Motor and Personal Lines Insurance Business will be considered an asset
