Inter Cars Malta Limited is currently looking to recruit an Invoicing Specialist to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Invoicing Specialist to join our purchasing team. As an Invoicing Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately processing and posting invoices for accounts payable and receivable. This role requires strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams and external suppliers. The Invoicing Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial records and maintaining positive relationships with product managers.


  • Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and process invoices, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company procedures
  • Data Entry: Posting invoice details into database files accurately and in a timely manner
  • Verification and Reconciliation: Verify invoice information, such as pricing, and quantities by cross-referencing with purchase orders, and price list
  • Documentation and Filing: Maintain organised records of invoices, purchase orders, and related documents for audit and reference purposes. Ensure proper filing and archiving of documents
  • Payment Processing Support: Work closely with the accounts payable team to prepare and reconcile payment batches, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment schedules
  • Bank reconciliation: Maintain and update journals in the company database.


  • MQF level 4 standard or equivalent; additional education in accounting, finance, or related field is a plus
  • Fluent in both Maltese and English languages
  • Proven experience in invoice processing, preferably in a purchasing or accounts payable role and knowledge in using Navision will be considered assets
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
