Guesthouse Receptionist

Prime Logistics Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Guesthouse Receptionist to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

We are looking for a friendly and organized individual to join our team as a Guesthouse Receptionist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests and ensuring the smooth operation of our guesthouse. Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests upon their arrival
• Check guests in and out of the guesthouse
• Answer phone calls and respond to emails and inquiries
• Handle reservations and room assignments
• Provide information about the guesthouse, local attractions, and amenities
• Process payments and maintain accurate records
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms are clean and well-maintained
• Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain a neat and organized reception area
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in computer systems and software, including reservation systems
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus
• Professional and friendly demeanour
• Attention to detail and ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
