Nicholas Industries in Malta is currently looking to recruit a General Office Clerk to join their team on a full-time basis.

Major Duties are as follows:  

  • Taking Calls and fulfilling their demands, while passing on calls to the desired interlocutors 
  • Welcome Clients to the reception area 
  • Inputting invoices purchased in the system
  • Taking care of petty cash book and see that you match in the evening
  • Inputting all the amounts that go in/out
  • Reconcile amounts once a week from the info that we give you
  • Send the POs for the Glass orders
  • Collecting Money and giving change
  • Taking Orders and issue client's receipt
  • Taking care of my appointments; offering my clients coffee /water when having a meeting in the board room
  • Taking care of client appointments such as installation dates or scheduling a site visit
  • Chasing Creditors, every month send them a copy of the statement while calling them to remind them of a payment
  • Keep the reception area well organized and cleaned desk - order what is missing next to the water dispenser and take care of Kitchenet stuff, such as coffee, water, sugar etc
  • Once every 2 weeks collect the information time sheet from the punch clock and list it on the spreadsheet for the wages
  • Register / Stamp Postages for mail
  • Open mailbox every day
  • Sort Remarkable Tablets
  • Schedule appointments with clients
  • Fixing appointments for installations
  • Other duties may incurred from time to time.


Requirements:

  • Previous Experience in a similar Role
  • MS Office proficient
  • Excellent communication skills in Maltese and English are a MUST
  • Basic Accounts knowledge will be considered an asset
  • O-Level in Maths or Accounts
  • Working hours are from 8:00 AM till 5:00 PM every day and can work Saturdays too if needed from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Our business started specifically in 1983 with Mr Nicholas Farrugia (Managing Director & Founder of Company), working as a part-timer in Manufacturing of Aluminium products and Full-timer as Mechanical Engineering. In 1986 he begins working at Aluminium as a full-timer with 1 employee in a small workshop in a residential garage in Siggiewi with a production floor of 784 Sq. Ft Producing Aluminium Apertures such as Doors, Windows, Closed Balconies, Railings etc. The market demand and especially the demand from our clients made us add our Aluminium production and to employ more employees to reach our demand to supply. Thus we had to change our premises to a larger Factory in Haz-Zebbug, which consequently gave us the opportunity to increase our market and include also imported items such as Door Panels, to our vast range of manufactured aluminium products. Our new factory is furnished with a fully functional Production Floor of 2415 Sq. Ft with extra brand-new machinery and a storage place of 1440 Sq. Ft is situated within the limits of Siggiewi where it is concentrated more to store different types of Melamine and Perspex. Besides all this, obviously, we had to increase our employees to seven in number, so that we can offer you the best product available on the market.
