Malta Marriott Hotel & Spa is currently looking to recruit a Front Office Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Office Manager to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary:
As the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all front office operations, ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction, and managing a dedicated team. Your role will encompass supervising activities and services across various areas, including the M Lounge, MH Great Room, Front Desk, Concierge, Porters, and Doormen. You will also handle budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and management of the front office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise activities and services in the M Lounge, MH Great Room, Front Desk, Concierge, Porters, and Doormen
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and front-office financial management
  • Directly link efforts and decisions to revenue generation by the front office
  • Hire, train, and direct new department associates
  • Ensure efficient and courteous guest assistance, applying all Marriott International standards
  • Resolve customer complaints to maintain high levels of satisfaction and quality
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to enhance communication and guest satisfaction
  • Enhance the product and service presented to each guest in the hotel
  • Report regularly to the Hotel Manager on the front office's performance against operations and human resources metrics
  • Analyze variances and monitor the impact of initiatives and corrective actions
  • Provide specialist support to the Executive Committee, especially the Hotel Manager
  • Work towards team goals, measuring effectiveness by decision quality and service performance.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Front Office Management role within a 4 or 5-star hotel
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a positive approach toward both external and internal guests
  • Excellent negotiating skills and the ability to work independently
  • Command of the English language; knowledge of additional languages is an asset
  • Strong personal confidence and good presentation skills
  • Willingness to learn continuously and a structured approach to planning
  • Team player able to work independently and under pressure
  • Flexible working attitude
  • Knowledge on Salesforce App
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with a Marriott property
