Our client, a leading entity, is looking to recruit a Fleet Supervisor to join their growing team. The chosen candidate will be reporting to the Operations Manager and will be responsible to:

  • Manage provider network including engaging providers and terminations;
  • Provide accurate and reliable data that supports decision-making processes;
  • Establish continuity in leadership and management, thereby maintaining service quality and operational efficiency even in the absence of the primary leader;
  • Ensure that all operations align with company procedures and contribute to the achievement of quality, profitability, and efficiency objectives;
  • Enhance the skills and knowledge of the team, through training activities related to practical and procedural issues, thereby improving service quality and operational efficiency, and aligning with the organization's performance goals;
  • Promote the optimal use of resources, leading and coordinating employees to ensure they are effectively contributing to the unit’s strategy and policies;
  • Oversee the management of the company's fleet resources to ensure they are maintained to high standards, and promote cooperation, efficiency, and safe working practices.
Requirements
  • Being organized to maintain and present contractor statistics every month.
  • Ability to handle dissatisfied clients or contractors.
  • Good negotiation skills and maintaining productive relationships.
Education and Experience
  • Technical understanding of the towing industry is highly preferred, and having hands-on experience is desirable.
  • Must speak and write fluent Maltese (since we communicate with contractors in Maltese).
  • Fleet Management experience is a must.
