FTIAS Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Treasury Analyst to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job Role:

Responsibilities:
Manage incoming and outgoing payment transactions for the FTI Group
Predict cash requirements and cash positions through analysis of budgetary needs and financial reports
Analyse cash reports and prepare monthly actual versus planned variance reports
Analyse working capital, identify possible risks and opportunities, prepare financial reports, and provide insights and recommendations to the Business and Senior Finance Management
Liaise with stakeholders from Treasury, Accounting, Controlling, and Operations to translate business developments into working capital
Develop strategies to optimize the Company’s cash position
Evaluate investment options and risk factors before investing surplus funds
Set up standardised procedures to improve efficiency in cash collections, funds transfers, cash disbursements, month-end account closing activities, and inter-departmental reporting
Communicate with banks, spread across the globe, as required
Handle the optimisation of bank fees
Improve and strengthen working capital awareness within the FTI Group, making sure knowledge and tools are available for efficient NWC planning and management
Spearhead the implementation and development of modern treasury tools.
Requirements:
An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent
Minimum of two years of working experience in Finance
Experienced in the fields of Controlling, Financial Accounting, or Treasury (cash management, liquidity forecasting)
Expertise in financial modelling (P&L, balance sheet, free cash flow)
Familiar with common BI, office tools and SAP (HANA, BW, ERP), or other ERPs
A good analytical and systematic thinker, able to understand the big picture, and detailed implications
Experience in collaborating with Stakeholders from different departments and on different management levels
Excellent communication skills (especially in the English language) and thrive in a team environment.
