Internal Auditor

A client of ours specialising in the Financial Sector is looking to onboard an Internal Auditor to join their team. 

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out audit based on the established audit plan
• Developing audit programs and testing procedures according to risk and test objectives
• Assessing the effectiveness of internal control systems and suggesting enhancements 
• Identifying and reporting any issues uncovered during audit, providing business relevant and risk based recommendations 
• Drafting of audit reports 
• Performing follow up audits to ensure that corrective actions and management responses are effectively implemented 
• Carrying out risk assessments and identifying existing controls designed to mitigate risks 
• Contributing to the creation of new processes, procedures and guidelines 
• Supporting in the development of annual internal audit plan
• Supporting the team with day to day running of the department 

• A minimum of 2 years of local experience in an Internal Audit role
• Excellent verbal and written English
• CPA, CIA, CISA, or other relevant certification preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Hybrid after probation
