Accounts Executive

Our client, operating within the aviation industry is opening up a new subsidiary within their group of companies and is looking for a hands on Accounts Executive to take care of such a function. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:  

• Updating, monitoring and reviewing of daily bookkeeping 
• Issuing, posting and reviewing of both customer and purchase invoices whilst monitoring accounts payables 
• Preparing and managing monthly and annual financial reports 
• Assisting with VAT submissions and other tax reporting 
• Preparation of management accounts, cash flow forecasting as well as budgets 
• Liaising with external auditors and other third parties such as banks and suppliers whilst assisting with the execution of annual audits 
• Be accountable for the set up and ongoing activity of this new function within the company 
• Participating in internal projects as may be assigned by the company from time to time 
• Any other duty which may be required from time to time 

• A minimum of three years experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
• Ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines
• Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
• Possess excellent organizational skills whilst maintaining the highest standards at all times

• Fully qualified accountant or in the last stages of ACCA
