Senior Accountant

Our client within the Insurance Industry is looking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their team.

Main responsibilities include :

• Reviewing insurance and general accounting entries leading to monthly preparation and review of Management accounts
• Coordinating the timely submission of monthly accounting data from third party local and international insurance managers 
• Financial reporting, and assisting in the annual forecasting and budgets process
• Assisting in the completion of Solvency II and other regulatory returns and the completion of annual audits
• Provide guidance & supervision to the accounting team
• Recommend and undertake continuous system and process improvements to improve efficiencies and ensure quality service

• Have excellent organisational and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience in Insurance Accounting and IFRS 17 will be considered an asset

• In possession of an Accounting qualification (University Degree, ACCA, or equivalent)

• Hybrid Working
