Junior Accountant

Our client, a leading corporate service provider, is seeking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join their internal accounting function. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Assisting in the general bookkeeping of the company
• Carrying out month end accounting procedures and reconciliations
• Assisting and supporting in the overall billing and credit control function
• Handling intercompany invoicing and reconciliations
• Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
• Supporting the head of department in the general financial management of the company
• Carrying out internal controls and assisting in the design and implementation of control procedures.
• Any other duty which may be required from time to time

• Minimum two years accounting experience in a similar role locally
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent team player with the ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with XERO software will be considered an asset

• AAT Diploma or Partly Qualified
