A group of companies focusing on hospitality and properties is currently on the lookout for an Accounting Manager to join their team.
Duties include:
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Monitor budgets and cost of sales to ensure optimal financial performance.
Manage investment aid applications, including EU funds.
Oversee property and motor insurance policies and renewals.
Review, suggest, and implement improved internal controls across all departments.
Train, mentor, and supervise staff within the accounts department.
Liaise with auditors during the annual audit process.
Submit VAT returns accurately and on time.
Prepare ad-hoc financial reports for management and directors.
Handle any additional tasks as required by management.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of local experience in an accounting function
Team management skills are considered as an asset
Fluency in both written and spoken English
Education and Experience
Masters in Accountancy would be considered as an asset but not a requirement
