Senior Accountant

Our client, a well renowned business in the financial services sector is looking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide accounting services, liaise with clients and handle various requests in a timely manner

• Supervise and coach junior accountants, including review of their deliverables

• Plan deliverables of client portfolio, be able to work on own initiative, prioritise own work and meet

deadlines

• Report to management with portfolio updates and assist in monitoring team economics

• Prepare accountancy files for audit and liaise with client auditors

• Prepare management accounts in accordance with relevant accounting frameworks

• Assist with presenting management accounts to clients

• Prepare and submit clients’ VAT returns and recap declarations

• Previous local experience in an accounting role, ideally in client accounting
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Sophisticated and able to built meaningful relationships with clients
• Experience in payroll is considered an asset

• Fully qualified through ACCA or equivalent
