Accountant

Our client, a well established Insurance company, is looking to recruit an Accountant to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts, as well as the annual financial statements and reports, for both internal and external purposes.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting procedures and controls.
• Provide assistance during annual audits.
• Aid in budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with the reconciliation of insurance and reinsurance accounts, including claims, premiums, and reinsurance.

• At least 5 years of experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a senior position.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrates a high level of integrity and professionalism.

• Master’s degree in Accountancy or an equivalent certification.
