Accountant

An international company specialising in the tourism sector is currently looking for an Accountant to join their team

Main duties include: 

• Reviewing of weekly payment run  
• Reviewing of bank reconciliations 
• Reviewing of sales invoices  
• Reviewing of payroll journals and upload files  
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations  
• Reviewing month end inventory and processing in accounting system  
• Preparing depreciation, accruals, and prepayments journals  
• Communicating with Managers and Front Office Managers 
• Communicating with peers in overseas purchasing and HR departments  
• Liaising with auditors during year end audit  
• Managing a team, assisting the team with queries and making sure they meet their deadlines  
• Other reporting/reconciliations which may be needed to be able to provide accurate figures  

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar post
• Experience in hospitality is considered an asset
• Knowledge of MS Office software – especially Excel
• Ability to effectively and efficiently manage a team
• Willing to travel once or twice per year

• Last stages of ACCA or similar
