VAT Manager

A well established CSP is looking to recruit a VAT Manager to support the diverse client portfolio specializing in local and international VAT matters and oversee the work done by the team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and review of compliance and advisory work carried out by junior members of the team
• Highlight VAT compliance gaps and suggest any necessary tailored recommendations to key areas of focus for the client’s business
• Liaise with local tax authorities and engage in audit procedure
• Provide the necessary guidance and training to the team to ensure that the required VAT treatment is applied as necessary
• Deliver or assist in delivering various internal and external training sessions
• Take an active role in various team initiatives in order to build a collaborative team dynamic at all levels

• Be fluent in English and Maltese
• A minimum of 4 years of experience with VAT

• A Masters degree in Accountancy or equivalent
