About Department 

Technology is at the core of the knowledge-based organisation. It enables MFSA's strategic and operational objectives to be achieved efficiently and effectively. 

The Technology team is made up of professionals specialised in relevant areas that include governance and planning, information systems, software development, information security, technology operations, and service management. Officials from Technology also participate and give their contribution in several European committees, expert groups, and industry fora. 

About the Role 

You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary passionate team, and shall be involved in the following areas: -  

  • Service and help desk support including incident management. 
  • Assist in systems management with involvement into monitoring and testing. 
  • Market research of technology systems, reporting and presentation. 
  • Assist with risk assessments, usage of tools to investigate incidents or issues, assess and resolve vulnerabilities. 
  • Other duties according to exigencies as may be required. 

About You 

We are looking for a motivated and energetic team player who is eager to contribute creative solutions. 

This opportunity is specifically designed for students who are currently pursuing a qualification in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or related fields. 

Candidates should be in the process of obtaining a qualification at National Qualification Framework Level 5 or higher, certified by the Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC) or an equivalent professional qualification at a comparable level.
