IT Support Technician

Key Responsibilities:

As an IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting users with hardware and software challenges. Your responsibilities will include implementing, maintaining, and managing desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other hardware. Additionally, you'll be involved in managing and escalating user queries, as well as the installation and maintenance of servers.

Qualifications:

We are seeking passionate individuals with:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a similar role
• Team player mentality with ambition and motivation
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and patience working with others
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, organisational skills, and meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency in the English language is a must and Maltese language will be considered a plus
• Capability to lift and move equipment as required
• Valid driving license with clean police conduct

Technical Qualifications:

• Successful candidates will have demonstrated expertise in:
• Setting up and maintaining Microsoft 365 products
• Administrative knowledge and experience of Microsoft back-office products, including Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022, Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Exchange Servers, and understanding of Networking Directory Services (Microsoft ADS, LDAP, TCP/IP DHCP, DNS, WINS)
• Knowledge of MAC OS (an asset)
• Hands-on experience in desk-side troubleshooting (PCs, printers, mobiles, and tablets), Cat5e/Cat6 cable termination and testing
• Application support experience in MS Office/MS Office 365, Anti-Virus
• Remote desktop support, setup of VPNs
• Knowledge of virtual environments, mainly Hyper-V
• Bonus points for familiarity with Mikrotik and VoIP systems
