IT Administrator

Our well-established client in the legal services sector is looking for an IT Administrator to join their growing team in Malta and are open to different levels of experience. The candidate will be reporting and assisting the IT manager and will be responsible for maintaining the infrastructure and providing technical support. Some of the responsibilities of the role would include:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and solve system and network problems
• Provide 1st and 2nd line support to all users on-site or over the phone
• Assist in launching and testing of new software; install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
• Maintain an IT asset inventory, set up new user accounts and replace parts as required
• Manage server, improve, safeguard, system backups and disaster recovery planning
• Prioratise and respond with agreed timelines and also provide procedural documentation and relevant reports
• Establish a good working relationship with users and other professionals within the industry
• Any other related tasks as deemed necessary from time to time

• Ideal candidate would have 2+ experience in simlar role
• Network, security, Active Directory, Microsoft SQL, CLI and JSON knowledge
• Experience with different software, hardware, and applications including database and ERP systems
• Experience with Cloud and hybrid environment
• Willing to solve complex issues and see projects through to completion
• Multitasker, problem solver and solution oriented team player with strong interpersonal communication
• Good command of both written and spoken English

• Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field/A diploma in IT
