Quad Consultancy in Malta is currently looking to recruit an IT Support Executive to join their team on a full-time basis.

Main Duties:

  • Respond and resolve technical issues reported
  • Provide technical assistance on hardware, software, network, and other IT-related problems
  • Diagnose troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and forward them to relevant teams when necessary
  • Install, configure, and update software applications, operating systems
  • Perform hardware upgrades, repairs and maintenance as needed
  • Enhance the understanding and proficiency of users by offering guidance and training on new software or systems
  • Create, modify and deactivate user accounts across various systems and applications
  • Ensure user access rights align with organizational policies and security procedures
  • Maintain an inventory of IT assets including hardware, software licenses and peripherals
  • Assist in enforcing security protocols, policies, and procedures
  • Monitor systems and business application performance and conduct routine maintenance tasks of IT systems and networks
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to address cross-functional technical issues
  • Coordinate with external vendors for support when required.

What skills do you need?

  • Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Information technology or related field
  • Familiar with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is desirable
  • Certifications like Comp TIA A+, MCITP or similar are considered an asset
  • Preferably 1 year experience in providing technical support in an enterprise environment.

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must.
