MaltaPost Plc is currently looking to recruit a Business Applications Support Specialist to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in supporting the technology of the national logistics operator, which offers a variety of services including real-time item tracking, 24x7 lockers, SendOn, an extensive retail network and much more?

Join us as a Business Applications Support Specialist, focusing on Applications Support and the implementation of new systems within MaltaPost plc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot issues on critical applications to ensure business continuity and escalate to the second level of support when required
  • Ensure that application related issues reported on the company’s ticketing system are resolved in a timely manner and to the customer’s satisfaction
  • Identify common issues, analyse the root cause and liaise with the projects team to prevent them from recurring
  • Participate in projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards
  • Conduct regular assessments to maintain system integrity and optimize performance
  • Stay abreast of industry developments to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Specialisation in Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proven track record in IT applications support and projects implementation
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Local residence and driving license.
