Our esteemed Client, The Land Registry Agency, is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager (ICT) to lead their technology initiatives and ensure seamless operations within their organization. The chosen candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of technology systems within the company’s operating context.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain and improve the company’s IT systems and databases
Develop and present the IT Strategy and business plan, including budget planning and cohesion with the overall business and financial plan
Handle operational planning and processes for database administration, data security, office automation, information systems development, network, communications, and systems/user support functions
Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and implement BI solutions
Deliver data and reporting platforms to key stakeholders to enable data-informed decisions
Manage contracts and service-level agreements for IT-related projects
Establish and manage contingency/disaster-recovery processes and data security policies
Enforce policies, standards, and procedures to protect and control IT systems and data
Manage the inventory of ICT resources, hardware, and software
Lead or participate in management committees for particular studies and projects
Provide recommendations to the Executive Head to create an efficient working environment for staff.
Qualification and Experience:
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (MQF Level 6, minimum of 180 ECTS/ECVET credits or equivalent) in IT/ICT or a similar qualification
At least 3 years of post-graduate experience in a comparable managerial role
Possess robust ICT knowledge and excellent troubleshooting skills, particularly in Microsoft and GI products, as well as other industry-standard tools
Have experience in network administration and components, including monitoring and alerting tools
Strong communication and leadership skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management
Hold an evaluative and problem-solving attitude
Able to adapt to new technologies, trends, and industry regulations.
