IT Professional
Simonds Farsons Cisk P.L.C. in Malta is currently looking to recruit an IT Professional to join their team on a full-time basis.
Overview:
The IT Professional will be responsible for assisting the IT Systems Manager in analysing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems to ensure high availability. The chosen candidate will work closely with the business stakeholders to fully comprehend their requirements and design systems that meet the requisites of the business objectives. Furthermore, they will assist in bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Duties will include:
- Providing ongoing user support and maintaining the company's IT systems
- Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to gather business requirements, address system issues, and implement change requests
- Creating test data, conducting system tests, assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and documenting outcomes to ensure system documents and operational guides are updated
- Assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of other in-house applications to meet business needs
- Create and maintain reports.
Requirements:
- Relevant academic qualifications in Information Technology
- Good understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL)
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- An analytical mindset and problem solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
