Business Analyst

Our client, operating in financial services, are looking for a motivated Business Analyst to join their growing team: 

Responsibilities:

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities for improvement in retail banking processes.
• Requirements Gathering: Lead the collation and documentation of business requirements through interviews, workshops, and user story development sessions with project stakeholders and SMEs.
• Documentation: Ensure business requirements are documented clearly, concisely, and accurately using industry-standard tools and techniques.
• Feasibility Analysis: Collaborate with the project team to analyze the feasibility and impact of proposed solutions on business processes and user experience.
• Functional Specifications: Work with IT teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Business Process Documentation: Assist BPR specialists in creating, validating, and maintaining business process documentation.
• Risk Analysis: Help identify and analyze business risks related to projects and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry best practices in financial services.
• Project Management: Manage multiple project tasks effectively, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.

• Program or Project Methodology: Knowledge of project management methodologies and processes.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze business requirements and document them effectively.
• Planning and Monitoring: Proficient in planning, monitoring, and reporting project progress.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

• At least 4 years of proven work experience in a similar role, within the financial services or related industries.
• An MQF level 5 qualification.
