System Administrator (m/f/d)

EPG Financial Services Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit a System Administrator to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

EPG Solution Services is looking for a System Administrator (m/f/d) to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware, and networks. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users and your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• As a Systems Administrator (m/f/d) you will maintain and upgrade operating systems, firmware and applications and other systems as appropriate and will recognize and troubleshoot problems with server hardware and applications software
• You will work with the IT team to install and configure Server operating systems (Windows and Linux) and applications and other systems as appropriate
• Furthermore, you will be working on Office 365 systems, and you will be expected to setup, configure and maintain these systems for the different users and customers within the organisation
• In addition, you will establish, as requested, and maintain documentation of customer environments and maintain the organization’s inventory of technological devices and document appropriately. You will also work with outside vendors as needed on a per-customer basis and assist with new product connector installs, upgrades, and troubleshooting
• The role also includes collecting and analysing data to evaluate network/systems performance and help make the system work better, faster, and with greater accuracy
• Moreover, you will prepare training materials and train users on the proper use of hardware and software when necessary
• Finally, you will triage, prioritize, escalate, and execute resolution on support requests and project tasks daily in an organized, efficient and expedited fashion.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferably in computer science or a related field without any experience or 4 years of experience or technical certifications accepted in lieu of degree
• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Strong Troubleshooting Skills
• Excellent Organizational & Written Communication Skills
