IT Coordinator

Our client, based on the Hospitality sector, is looking for an IT Coordinator to join their team. The person will be tasked with installing and maintaining all IT systems and networks within the organization. 

This role ensures the functionality and efficiency of computer and telecom systems by adhering to protocols and providing technical support.

Responsibilities:

• Log all queries/issues into the ticketing system.
• Provide technical support for systems and networks.
• Serve as a liaison between end users, higher-level support, and other departments.
• Install and configure software and hardware (e.g., laptops, workstations, printers, and peripherals).
• Monitor system and network performance.
• Troubleshoot using the ISO/OSI model.
• Create user accounts, groups, policies, and emails.
• Provide technical support for the Group’s Point of Sales and all associated peripherals.
• Install and maintain the hotel’s television system via a backend application.
• Inspect CCTV cameras, NVRs, and DVRs.
• Install and configure access points and network switches.
• Collaborate with other professionals to maintain standards and functionality.
• Perform preventive maintenance on various equipment.
• Set up equipment for live events and private functions.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Effective communication skills within a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance and impact.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of protocols, IP addressing, subnetting, and routing.
• Familiarity with DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory.
• Attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised.
• Willingness to learn.
