Stores Assistant/Delivery Person

Europharma Ltd., part of Michele Peresso Group of Companies, are looking to recruit a Stores Assistant/Delivery Person on a full-time basis. This role plays an important part in offering a high-quality service to customers, and the main responsibilities of the selected candidate will include preparation and checking of orders prior to packing them and delivering them across the Maltese islands. Stocks include pharmaceuticals and medical devices, thus need to be handled with great care whilst ensuring required storage conditions are always respected.

Responsibilities Include:

Warehouse

• Ensuring that the warehouse is clean and well-maintained, and that health and safety procedures are always being followed;
• Keeping the warehouse organized at all times, making space for any new or incoming stock;
• Checking received stock with the packing list, and forwarding relevant documents to the administration team in a timely manner;
• Ensuring that stock cards are fully completed;
• Recording the daily temperatures within various zones of warehouse as required.

Deliveries

• Loading and unloading items to and from our vehicles, stores and outlets;
• Making deliveries of local or online purchases or transfers between company premises;
• Maintaining delivery records and checking invoice completion, collecting cash/credit notes;
• Being responsible for the upkeep of the company’s delivery fleet;
• Reviewing orders to ensure accurate completion and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate should:

• Have a minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a similar position;
• Be in possession of a clean C/C1 driving licence;
• Be outgoing and customer-oriented;
• Be trustworthy and take initiative and responsibility for his/her work;
