Store Helper
Main Duties:
• Responsible for storage of food & beverage items, disposables, and cleaning products.
• Issuing and preparing requisitions for outlets.
• Responsible for verifying all goods arrived as per the agreed purchase and delivery note and agreed quantity have been received.
• Upkeep of stores and surrounding area.
• Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
• Handle ad hoc tasks as needed to support the team and department.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a store, warehouse, logistics, or similar role is considered an asset.
• Ability to receive, check, store, and issue stock accurately.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, and moving stock items when required.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organisation within the store's area.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English; knowledge of Maltese is considered an asset.
• Flexible approach to work and willingness to assist with ad hoc duties as required.
