Stores Assistant

The Xara Collection in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Stores Assistant to join its team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our Procurement team at the Xara Collection!

The Xara Palace is a unique 17th-century luxury Boutique hotel, nestled in the majestic medieval fortified city of Mdina
The group’s diversified portfolio comprises the award-winning fine dining de Mondion perched on Mdina’s bastions, the cosy al fresco Trattoria located in the palace’s courtyard as well as the Conference and Events Centre located just outside Mdina.

The impact you will make:
Our goal is to provide our guests with an exceptional holiday with memories that last a lifetime.
You will be responsible for general and department-specific, routine, daily store activities, including supplies receipt and distribution.
You will ensure that our accommodation and public areas are maintained to the highest standard in line with Health & Safety and company Brand Standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• You will receive and deliver goods and follow all standards for issuing and receiving stocks
• You will be responsible for verifying all goods received as per the agreed purchase and for the storage of both Food & Beverage and operational stocks
• You will ensure the cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean and tidy
• You will be able to work both as a team and on your initiative and to work effectively towards deadlines
• You will communicate effectively with both the public and work colleagues
• You must possess a valid C1 driving license
• You must have or will do the Food handler’s course.
