One of our clients, a leader within the transport sector in Malta, is looking to recruit a Storekeeper to join their team on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities:
Issue purchase orders and proposals;
Receiving materials from suppliers and place in their proper allocation on their predefined shelves after they have been recorded in the Stores Management System;
Handling of materials to technical staff members to do repairs on any asset belonging to the company;
Control of assets and where parts are going to be used after issued from stores;
Recording of parts issued in the Stores Management System;
Monitor the warranty process for parts on new vehicles, proper labeling and storing of those parts that are to be claimed;
Filling out of job cards or any other documentation related to the job to fully assure traceability;
Ensure effective cleaning and organization of work areas and tools at all times, including hazardous wastes management;
Follow company health and safety policies.
Requirements:
Knowledgeable of automotive parts and accessories;
Be familiar with inventory principles and practices; proper methods of store keeping, including the receipt, inspection, storage and issuance of supplies;
Have good record maintenance skills using a computer and related software applications;
Be capable of handling heavy or bulky automotive parts, accessories, and equipment;
Good communication skills in written and spoken English;
Able to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Organised with problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude
Able to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative.
