Storekeeper
- Job Vacancy: Storekeeper.
As part of our expansion strategy, Zrar Ltd. Malta is offering an employment opportunity for a Storekeeper.
Based at the plant located in Ta’ Zuta, Had-Dingli, you will be responsible for: Overseeing the general day-to-day operations of the 2 stores including the stores' staff. - Maintaining updated records of quantities of goods and tools in stock as well as storing them accordingly in the stores.
- Preparing for requested dispatch orders whilst coordinating with logistics manager the delivery of supplies to work-sites.
- Overseeing and administering the upkeep and general housekeeping of the stores' area.
- Maintaining repairs for small tools and equipment.
- Generating of necessary ad-hoc reports.
- Carrying out stock takes of all stores.
- Organising and helping in the implementation of the new stores and setup.
The successful candidate should preferably have: - Minimum “A” level of education.
- Proficient in the use of a PC, preferably ECDL certified.
- A driving licence (Lic. B), as well as a licence to drive a fork lifter, would be considered an asset.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role would be considered an asset.
- Hands-on experience in the construction industry will be considered an asset.
Applicants who worked in hardware stores or have similar industry experience are also encouraged to apply.
