Logistics and Warehouse Coordinator

We are looking for a Warehouse/Logistics coordinator to join a great team within a dynamic organisation.

What is expected of you?

• Coordinating and handling inventory, warehousing, and logistics
• Ensuring warehouses remain tidy, properly maintained, and comply with the company’s Health  Safety regulations
• Arranging and organizing items according to designated storage zones
• Relocating items securely across different warehouse facilities with tools like forklifts, palletizers, and other devices
• Overseeing shipment distribution and transportation management

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Plan daily tasks for storekeeping and delivery staff, assigning roles effectively
• Supervise warehouse and delivery teams, ensuring they are well-groomed and in proper company uniform
• Monitor staff performance, address issues, and provide necessary feedback or actions
• Maintain customer satisfaction across logistics operations, including staff interactions
• Identify training needs for team members and coordinate appropriate programs

Compliance 

• Comply with local Health & Safety laws and company policies
• Perform and support Health & Safety audit inspections
• Enhance warehouse security to minimize theft
• Ensure regular servicing and upkeep of company equipment and vehicles through preventive maintenance measures
• Manage the Vehicle Roadworthiness Test (VRT) for the fleet

Inbound Logistics Responsibilities

• Organizing inbound logistics and storing products in warehouses based on project needs and distribution schedules
• Inspecting and verifying incoming goods for quality and accuracy, reporting any damages as needed
• Overseeing inbound shipment logistics and coordinating checks to ensure goods match the orders
• Planning inbound deliveries and arranging for seamless delivery processes

Outbound logistics Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify customer orders for delivery
• Ensure efficient and accurate picking and unloading of goods
• Conduct routine inventory checks and stock counts
• Handle warehouse stocks carefully, ensuring proper rotation using the FIFO method
• Organize and oversee the transportation and distribution of orders
• Safely load, transport, and deliver items to customers on time
• Dispose of packaging waste responsibly and in an eco-friendly manner

What are you expected to bring?

• Eligible to work legally in Malta
• Ideally hold a 'C1' category EU driving license.
• Forklift license is an asset
• Be able to communicate proficiently in both Maltese and English languages
• Be a team player and have organisational skills
• Familiarisation with inventory principles
• Be IT literate and have a sound knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Able to handle heavy or bulky items
