Purchasing and Tenders Manager

HandsOn Systems Ltd. in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Purchasing and Tenders Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and develop standard procurement procedures for technology products and services.
• Identify and engage with top-tier technology suppliers, negotiating prices and contracts to ensure competitive pricing and favourable terms.
• Manage the sourcing of hardware, software, and other technology services.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and pricing fluctuations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely acquisition and integration of technology solutions.
• Optimise procurement processes to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and agility.
• Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, addressing any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of technology purchases, contracts, and licensing agreements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators to senior management.
• Assist in the accurate and timely compilation of information as per tender requirements.
• Manage the stock control system and company inventory on a daily basis.
  
  Qualifications:
• Proven experience in procurement or in a similar role within the technology sector.
• In-depth knowledge of technology procurement best practices, market trends, and negotiation strategies.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in the technology domain.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills, with a tech-savvy mindset.
• Familiarity with procurement software, technology solutions, and licensing agreements.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
