Delivery Person

Position Description:

Kencar Group of Companies in Malta is looking to recruit a Delivery Person to join their team on a full-time basis.

Title: Delivery Person

Job Purpose: To be a helping hand to the Store keeper, responsible for various tasks in our stores including sorting, loading and delivering items to clients in the best possible way.

Main Duties:

1) Assist in loading/unloading, transporting, and delivering goods to clients or businesses in a safe and timely manner;

2) Receive, unload and shelve supplies;

3) Perform basic shelving installations/alterations as required;

4) Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies;

5) Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses;

6) Keep the working place area clean, tidy and up to date.

Requirements:

1) Familiar with tools and equipment;

2) Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time

3) Ability to communicate in a team and good interpersonal skills;

4) Self-motivated and able to work reliably and effectively under close, but not constant supervision;

5) Valid and clean driving licence (Category C and C1 would be considered as an asset) and good conduct;

6) A forklift driving certificate would be considered as an asset.
