Procurement Manager

Our client who specializes in the Healthcare industry is looking for a Procurement manager. Your roles and responsibilities will include:

• Lead the development and implementation of supplier risk mapping processes to identify and assess potential risks within the supply chain
• Work closely with the Engineering/Opex internally and externally with suppliers team to build business cases for change, providing financial analysis and risk evaluation outcomes
• Utilize risk assessment tools and methodologies to prioritize suppliers based on risk severity and develop mitigation strategies
• Manage the Procurement supply continuity project stream, working closely with the Product Core Team to prioritize certain initiatives to ensure uninterrupted supply of critical components and materials
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights on supplier performance, financial stability, geopolitical factors, and other risk indicators
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and oversee project execution to meet objectives and deadlines
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to address supply chain disruptions and implement risk mitigation measures
• Collaborate with suppliers to identify and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks and improve supply chain resilience
• Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues as needed to drive resolution and maintain continuity of supply
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the effectiveness of supply continuity initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement efforts within the team and across the procurement organization to optimize supplier risk management practices

• 8+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related field, with a focus on supplier risk management and supply continuity
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing projects, including project planning, execution, and stakeholder management
• Strong understanding of supplier risk assessment methodologies, supply chain risk management practices, and regulatory requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• eam player experienced in effective root cause problem solving able to quickly gain credibility and gain traction with both stakeholders and suppliers

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred
