Our client who specializes in the Healthcare industry is looking for a Procurement manager. Your roles and responsibilities will include:
Lead the development and implementation of supplier risk mapping processes to identify and assess potential risks within the supply chain
Work closely with the Engineering/Opex internally and externally with suppliers team to build business cases for change, providing financial analysis and risk evaluation outcomes
Utilize risk assessment tools and methodologies to prioritize suppliers based on risk severity and develop mitigation strategies
Manage the Procurement supply continuity project stream, working closely with the Product Core Team to prioritize certain initiatives to ensure uninterrupted supply of critical components and materials
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights on supplier performance, financial stability, geopolitical factors, and other risk indicators
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and oversee project execution to meet objectives and deadlines
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to address supply chain disruptions and implement risk mitigation measures
Collaborate with suppliers to identify and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks and improve supply chain resilience
Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues as needed to drive resolution and maintain continuity of supply
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the effectiveness of supply continuity initiatives
Drive continuous improvement efforts within the team and across the procurement organization to optimize supplier risk management practices
Requirements
8+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related field, with a focus on supplier risk management and supply continuity
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing projects, including project planning, execution, and stakeholder management
Strong understanding of supplier risk assessment methodologies, supply chain risk management practices, and regulatory requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
eam player experienced in effective root cause problem solving able to quickly gain credibility and gain traction with both stakeholders and suppliers
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred
