Inventory Clerk (Gozo)

General Soft Drinks Co Ltd in Gozo is looking to recruit an Inventory Clerk to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role: 
The Gozo Inventory Clerk is to coordinate the day-to-day running of the Gozo Warehouse and be responsible for all dealings with regard to logistics with the Company's Gozo agent. S/he is to ensure the smooth running of the Gozo warehouse with respect to stock rotation, truck loading, safety, work rosters, product checks, work & leave planning, dispatch, and reconciliation of deliveries.

The main position's responsibilities include:

• Organize, on a daily basis, product requirements from Malta ensuring adequate inventory levels at the Gozo warehouse
• Coordinate with the Malta inventory clerk/s the transfer of goods from Gozo to Malta and vice versa, and ensure that goods received are inspected and accepted in line with quality parameters
• Ensure that finished goods, empties, and raw materials are stacked in a proper manner to avoid damages and any hazards to employees
• Ensure that FEFO (First Expiry First Out) is applied for all deliveries
• To carry out physical stock takes, daily and monthly as necessary
• To ensure that all goods returned to the warehouse are in sellable/usable order
• To prepare routine reports as directed by a superior
• To settle all invoices following delivery of goods
• To receive/disburse monies from clients/truck drivers, and record monetary transactions.

What we looking for:

• Secondary school education
• Basic Mathematical knowledge
• Able to communicate well and deliver tasks both verbally and in writing
• Able to work under minimum supervision
• Self-motivated and can-do attitude
• Good computer knowledge is a must.
