Michele Peresso Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Group Stock Controller to join their team on a full-time basis.

About us:
Michele Peresso Group is mainly active in the retail market through its subsidiaries Eurosport Ltd., Europharma Ltd. and Michele Peresso Fashion Ltd.
We are currently recruiting for the position of Group Stock Controller.

The selected candidate will be fully responsible for stock control of all companies within the Michele Peresso Group (MPG), ensuring that the right policies and procedures are in place for up-to-date reconciliation of physical stock levels with system records.

The Group Stock Controller will also be responsible for the coordination and execution of general and perpetual stock takes.

Key Responsibilities

The Group Stock Controller will be responsible for: 

  • Stock control of all companies within the Michele Peresso Group
  • Effective stock control policies and procedures and the adherence to these by all stakeholders involved
  • Checking and ensuring that physical stock levels reconcile with system records
  • The coordination and execution of general and perpetual stock takes
  • Onsite visits and spot checks in warehouses and shops
  • Reporting on stock control and movements
  • Investigating stock discrepancies until closure
  • The selected candidate will be a highly analytical person, capable of breaking down and understanding complex issues and capable of driving performance at all times.  


Skills and competencies for the position include:

  • Computer literacy with a strong proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills with the ability to analyse inventory data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimize stock levels and minimize shortages or excesses
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • At least 2 years of experience working in inventory control, preferably in retail
