Assistant Storekeeper

Job Description:
Our well-established company is seeking to employ a full-time assistant storekeeper to join our growing team. We at Calleja Ltd believe in empowering employees and continuously investing in their development to achieve our goals. 

We are looking for a smart, responsible, and dynamic individual with good organisational and communicational skills to join our team. The post includes attending to the daily duties of our stores.

Main Duties:

• Day-to-day operations of stores
• Picking up of goods upon client’s orders 
• Unloading and checking of goods against order forms
• Label items with storage details
• Ensure safe handling of all goods and report any damages
• Coordinating with the manager to ensure processes are adhered to.
• Other related duties as assigned by the management 

Skill Sets and Qualifications:

• Good Command of written and spoken English
• Be able to climb ladders and carry moderately heavy objects 
• A can-do attitude and willingness to work under own initiative
• Team player
• Reliable, well-organised, motivated, and highly confidential
• Candidates with previous experience and the ability to communicate in Maltese will be given preference 
• Applicants applying for this position must reside in Malta and have a valid residence/work permit and clean police conduct.
