Assistant Purchasing Executive

MCE Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Assistant Purchasing Executive to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

A vacancy has arisen for the post of an Assistant Purchasing Executive to assist in this growing department. Duties will consist of the preparation of purchase orders for electrical and plumbing goods to suppliers, coordination of shipping and customs clearance of consignments, monitoring and checking stock levels for re-ordering purposes, stock pricing and participation in stock takes. 

The prospective candidate will also be required to occasionally assist in the manning of the company’s electrical point of sale as the need arises, as well as to be part of the staff pool for the Saturday morning roster at the same outlet.

Applicants must demonstrate fluency in both Maltese and English, have basic numeracy skills and be computer literate, including the ability to send well-structured emails and proficiency in Word and Excel.
