Skilled Labourers - Experienced Brick Shutterers

We are seeking Skilled and Experienced Labourers (Brick Shutterers) to join their team on a full-time basis. 

Job Role:

Being a leading entity in the local construction civil engineering industry, the company enjoys an excellent reputation for its commitment to quality and client satisfaction. We are recruiting as part of our expansion strategy, Shutterers that will be involved with creating formwork or moulds using material like wood or metals to shape and support concrete structures during the pouring and settling process.  

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in building structures for residential, business, and construction sites
• Mixing and pumping concrete, grouting, cement, sand, and/or plaster
• Measuring, cutting and assembling these forms based on project specifications
• Ensuring precision of the final concrete structure meets design requirements
• Operating any necessary tools and/or machinery to complete the task at hand
• Pouring concrete and asphalt onto roads.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the construction industry would be considered an asset
• Candidates who are capable of operating heavy plant machinery will be preferred
• Candidates with a driving license and have their own transport will be preferred
• The successful applicant must be willing to do manual skilled work such as rust cutting, steel fixing, and fitter-related work
• Work in concrete, laying of curbs, and pre-cast works could also form part of the role.
