Maintenance Person

FBS (Marketing) Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Person to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and repairing equipment within the warehouse. Your role is critical to minimizing downtime and ensuring a safe, efficient work environment.

The Maintenance Person will report to the Operations Manager. 

The chosen candidate will be responsible to:

• Perform regular maintenance checks on warehouse machinery, equipment, and building systems
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and minor plumbing issues
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce the risk of equipment failure
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
• Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment as needed
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and logs
• Ensure all health and safety standards are followed in the workplace
• Work closely with warehouse management and other departments to minimize disruptions to operations.

Role Requirements:

• Proven experience in maintenance roles, ideally in a warehouse or industrial setting
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physically fit and healthy
• Possess a clean police conduct
• Able to work on own initiative
• Minimum driving licence B
• Able to write and converse in Maltese & English.
