Skilled Labourer / Helper- Automotive

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Labourer to join our team in the mechanics department. As an Auto Mechanic - Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and repair of various vehicles. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of vehicles, including but not limited to changing oil, rotating tires, and replacing filters
- Perform basic diagnostic tests and identify potential issues with vehicles
- Clean and organize work area and tools to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary parts and supplies
- Maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction by providing quality workmanship

Requirements:

- Previous experience working in an automotive repair shop or related field
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic computer skills and ability to use diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when needed
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with others.
