Painter

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces to enhance their appearance and protect them from damage. You will work on a variety of projects, from residential homes to commercial buildings, and must have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of color theory.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes and cracks
- Mix and match paints and stains to achieve desired colors and finishes
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Use techniques such as sponging, stenciling, and faux finishing to create decorative effects
- Ensure proper coverage and smooth finish by applying multiple coats as needed
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Follow safety protocols and use protective gear to prevent accidents and exposure to harmful substances
- Keep track of inventory and order supplies as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Painter, with a portfolio of completed projects
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
- Familiarity with color theory and ability to mix and match paints to achieve desired shades
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina and ability to work on ladders and scaffolding for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in painting is a plus
