Events Logistics Personnel (Driver)

The Xara Collection in Malta is currently looking to recruit a highly organized and reliable individual to join their team as an Events Logistics Personnel (Driver) on a full-time basis.

Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe transportation of event equipment and materials to various locations. You will play a crucial role in the success of our events by ensuring that all logistics are executed efficiently and effectively.

Forming part of the Xara Collection, the Xara Lodge is a multi-purpose venue located in the countryside offering breath-taking views, landscaped gardens, and pool areas, and enjoying a solid reputation for style and excellence that has attracted international visitors and notable personalities over the past years.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport food, beverages, and equipment to and from event locations
• Load and unload equipment, ensuring that all items are handled with care to avoid damage
• Ensure timely delivery and pick-up of equipment according to the event schedule
• Communicate with event coordinators to coordinate delivery and set-up times
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the F&B equipment store
• Regularly check inventory levels and report any shortages or issues
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of event venues, including back-of-house areas.

Requirements:

• Valid Licence C licence with a clean driving record
• Previous experience in logistics or event transportation preferred
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
